I decided several weeks ago to take today off from writing!
But there was another reason I took the week off which I was not aware of at the time the decision was made, BUT the Lord knew!
Aren't you glad the Lord knows ALL things?
That nothing takes Him by surprise?
You see, for the past two weeks, going on three, Brian and I have been battling this nasty sinus/cold "junk" that's affecting so many people.
This is one powerful bug which refuses to give up.
Just when you think you're starting to feel better, it turns and strikes again!
I definitely was not up to writing anything of use.
I haven't been up for much of anything, and the Lord knew that would be the case weeks ago!
I thought I was just taking a break for my birthday BUT GOD knew!!!
"O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?"
These are some of the Scripture verses which the Lord has brought to my mind as I ponder the day of my birth.
"This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."
"So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom."
"I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me."
"For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well."
"Redeeming the time, because the days are evil."
I pray that I'll be back next week with a brand new post!
In the meantime
let this song
to your spirit
