Another Easter Has Come And Gone, So Now What?

Another Easter Has Come And Gone, So Now What?

The Easter cantatas, dramas and musicals have all been sung and performed.

Pictures of everyone dressed up in their Easter best have been taken and posted on Facebook for family and friends to enjoy!

All the Easter eggs have been hunted and found. Hopefully they have been found, especially if you hid REAL eggs!

I'm sure all the yummy chocolate bunnies, sugary peeps and jelly beans have been consumed by now. Probably entirely gone by Easter night!

The pretty new Easter dresses, hats, suits and shoes are all put back in the closet and are now considered just another regular Sunday outfit since they made their Easter debut!

Me just a few years ago
dressed in my Easter best!

Easter services have taken place, and Lord willing, MANY trusted Christ as their personal Saviour as they heard of Jesus' death, burial and resurrection.

Easter dinner was delicious and now maybe you are feasting on the left overs, if there are any!

So now what?

Do we just wait for next Easter to come around so we get to do it all over again?

While the "traditions" of Easter may be over, I for one, am so very thankful that my Saviour is still risen today and will be tomorrow, the next day, the following day, next Easter, forever and ALWAYS.

For all eternity!

We don't need

to wait

until next Easter

to celebrate Him!

We don't need just a Christmas Saviour. An Easter Saviour. A Saviour to help when life throws us a punch! We NEED an EVERY DAY Saviour!

As believers in Jesus Christ, we DO have an EVERY DAY Saviour! He is with us EVERY hour, EVERY minute, EVERY second of EVERY day of the year!

Now that's

something really

worth celebrating!

Here are just a very few of the victories which belong to us if we know Christ as our Saviour.

Victories which Christ won for us through His death, burial and resurrection.

SALVATION
"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."
Romans 10:9

FELLOWSHIP
"That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ."
I John 1:3

PEACE
"These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
John 16:33

PROVISIONS
"But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen."
Philippines 4:19-20

NEW LIFE
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
II Corinthians 5:17

SPIRITUAL BLESSINGS
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ."
Ephesians 1:3

GRACE
"Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus."
II Timothy 2:1

PRAYER
"For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need."
Hebrews 4:15-16

ABUNDANT LIFE
"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly."
John 10:10

CONTENTMENT
"Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee."
Hebrews 13:5

REST
"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
Matthew 11:28

STRENGTH
"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me."
Philippians 4:13

OVERCOMER
"Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?"
I John 5:5

NO CONDEMNATION
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit."
Romans 8:1

A STEADFAST SAVIOUR!

That's just merely fifteen of the vast victories which were won for us because of Jesus' victory over death and the grave!

Well, I don't know about you, but those victories and the FACT that Jesus is ALWAYS with me makes it much easier to face tomorrow even with all its trials, hardships, illnesses and unknowns!

Let's celebrate, once again, that we serve a risen Saviour, not just on Easter, but on all the other 364 days of the year!

"Because He lives
I CAN
face tomorrow.

Because He lives
ALL fear
is gone
Because I KNOW
He holds
the future

And life IS worth
the living

Just because
HE LIVES!"

This is the truth. How many people only believe that Easter is the "Easter Bunny?" Thank you for adding in the words to because He lives! One of my very favorite songs!

Yes my dear friend it's so very sad that so many think of Easter as merely the Easter bunny and hunting eggs and getting candy instead of the resurrection of the Saviour of the world.
Oh, yes, the song is one of my favorites as well. It holds such hope and truth!
      Love you bunches ❤
      Your sparkly friend ♡♡♡
